North through Scotland up the West, any of a thousand Great Wee Roads to Oban. Catch the ferry across to Uist, ride up to Stornaway and back onto the NC500 across the roof of Scotland to John O'Groats.

Lots of options, including the highlands run from Fort William to Loch Lomond, or out to Skye.
